वेसक(वैशाख) एक उत्सव है जो विश्व भर के बौद्धों एवं अधिकांश हिन्दुओं द्वारा मनाया जाता है। यह उत्सव बुद्धपूर्णिमा को मनाया जाता है जिस दिन गौतम बुद्ध का जन्म और निर्वाण हुआ था तथा इसी दिन उन्हें बोधि की प्राप्ति हुई थी। विभिन्न देशों के पंचांग के अनुसार बुद्धपूर्णिमा अलग-अलग दिन पड़ता है।
विभिन्न देशों में इस पर्व के अलग-अलग नाम हैं। उदाहरण के लिए, हांग कांग में इसे बुद्ध जन्मदिवस कहा जाता है, इंडोनेशिया में 'वैसक' दिन कहते हैं, सिंगापुर में 'वेसक दिवस' और थाईलैण्ड में 'वैशाख बुच्छ दिन' कहते हैं।

Vesak (Vaishakh) is a festival celebrated by Buddhists and most Hindus around the world. This festival is celebrated on Buddha Purnima on the day Gautama Buddha was born and nirvana and on this day he attained Bodhi. According to the almanac of different countries, Buddha Purnima falls on different days.
This festival has different names in different countries. For example, in Hong Kong it is called Buddha's Birthday, in Indonesia it is called 'Vesak' Day, in Singapore it is 'Vesak Day' and in Thailand it is 'Vaisakh Bunch Day'.

हैलो दोस्तों आज हम लोग संघनन(Condensation) के बारे में अध्ययन करेंगे। Hello friends, today we will study about condensation. संघनन(Condensation) :- Image source- Google Image by- Thinglink.com जल के गैसीय अवस्था से तरल या ठोस अवस्था में होने वाले परिवर्तन को संघनन कहते हैं। संघनन को प्रभावित करने वाले दो प्रमुख कारक हैं। वायु की सापेक्षिक आर्द्रता तापमान में कमी जब वायुमंडल के तापमान में कमी आती हैं तो धूल कणों का संघनन शुरू हो जाता हैं। इन कणों को संघनन केंद्र कहते हैं। धूल, धुआँ और समुद्री नमक के कण अच्छे संघनन के केंद्र माने जाते हैं। संघनन की क्रिया से ओस, कुहरा, कुहासा तथा बादल बनते हैं, जोकि संघनन के ही विविध रूप हैं। वायु के जिस तापमान पर जल अपनी गैसीय अवस्था (जलवाष्प) से तरल या ठोस अवस्था में बदलता है तो उसे ओसांक कहते हैं। जब ओसांक हिमांक के नीचे होता हैं तो तुषार, हिम, पक्षाभ मेघ आदि का निर्माण होता हैं। जब ओसांक हिमांक से ऊपर ...

सूर्यग्रहण और चंद्रग्रहण: हम जानते हैं कि सूर्य और चन्द्रमा दोनों को ही सूर्य से प्रकाश मिलता हैं। चन्द्रमा और पृथ्वी की गति एक समान होने के कारण हमें चन्द्रमा का केवल एक ही भाग दिखाई देता हैं। पृथ्वी पर चन्द्रमा का सम्पूर्ण प्रकाशित भाग माह में एक बार के पूर्णिमा (Full Moon) को ही दिखाई देता हैं। ठीक इसी प्रकार चन्द्रमा का सम्पूर्ण अप्रकाशित भाग माह में केवल एक बार अमावस्या (New moon) को दिखाई देता हैं। Solar eclipse and lunar eclipse: We know that both the Sun and the Moon receive light from the Sun.
